Shipping policy
We use Royal Mail and DPD as our preferred delivery partners.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland may take an EXTRA 2-3 working days.
If your order doesn't arrive during these estimated delivery periods, please call us on 01977 220000 or email sales@thesignshed.co.uk and we'll be happy to investigate and if need be, we'll send out a replacement order the same day.
As with all orders, we can't guarantee that the delivery company (Royal Mail, DPD or Parcelforce) will deliver on time. In exceptional circumstances delivery company delays beyond our control do occur. What we can guarantee though is that we will dispatch your order when we say we will, by the service you've requested.
If you've any issues with the delivery please let us know and we'll do everything we can to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
FREE DELIVERY ON UK ONLINE ORDERS OVER £50
We know we're tight with our money in Yorkshire, but we're not that tight! In fact so much so that we're giving you FREE Royal Mail 24 delivery for all UK online orders over £50! Spend over £100 and you qualify for FREE DPD delivery. There's no delay sending out your orders; they'll be dispatched within one working day*. Please allow around 3 working days for Royal Mail 24 delivery.
If you need your order faster, you can upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm (£14.95, order by 2.30pm on weekdays), for delivery the following WORKING day (Monday to Saturday).
For larger items we use DPD. In some areas we may use Parcelforce as an alternative courier for larger items.
*The small print
"Working days" for Royal Mail, DPD and Parcelforce relate to Monday to Friday only.
* Does not include signs 800 x 600 mm or larger, which will be sent by DHL or Parcelforce. It also does not include custom signs where artwork approval has been requested prior to manufacture.
