Ensure the safety and well-being of children with our Play Area Under-12 Sign (Metal Fixing), expertly designed for outdoor use and long-lasting durability. Constructed from high-quality composite aluminium, this robust sign includes pre-drilled holes compatible with channel clamps, screw-bands, or rail clips, allowing secure attachment to metal or concrete posts. It clearly designates the area for children under 12, prohibits dogs, smoking, and littering, and reminds guardians of their responsibility to supervise, providing clear and immediate guidance to promote safe and responsible play.
Compliant with the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, this sign features EN ISO 7010 standard pictograms, ensuring universally recognised and regulation-approved visuals. Such compliance is essential to reduce risks and limit liability under the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957, which requires clear, adequate signage in public play areas to protect both visitors and site operators.
Manufactured in Britain using premium materials, this high-visibility sign is ideal for councils, schools, playgrounds, and community spaces that prioritise reliable safety communication. It effectively conveys critical rules while supporting Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines, helping to protect children and clarify that management does not accept liability for incidents resulting from unsupervised play. The Sign Shed is the UK’s leading online safety sign supplier, holding a 5-star rating (excellent) based on over 5,000 customer reviews, demonstrating our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
